Research topic: Experimental facilities:
We focus on the development of innovative optical information processing devices / systems. Our works are based on advanced knowledge and techniques for designing and optimizing optical quantum systems at micro-scale, spanning dimensions from microns to nanometers, base on the concept of "light × nano × information". [MORE] We are equipped with the best optical experimental facilities at Kyushu University, including various laser devices, microspectrometer, white-light interferometer, streak cameras, high-speed camera, and others, all of which are necessary for carrying out various research projects related to "light x nano x information." Research achievements: Human resource development:
We actively present our research achievements, and have produced many achievements that have attracted attention both domestically and internationally. In addition, almost all students are expected to present their achievements at international conferences by the time of their graduations, and we encourage students to write original papers. [MORE] We aim to promote human resources with the unique qualities of both specialists and generalists. These individuals will be trained to address challenges across scales―from nano to macro, from fundamental research to practical applications, and from foundational physics to real-world solutions―by integrating diverse needs and opportunities.
